We draw them in our notebooks. It was a tough task.

Stones- Wales

We collected lots of different stones. We looked at them and sorted them. We even made pictures with them.

We looked at them and discussed thier colours, shape, sizes and how they felt.

We each picked our favourites.

Playing with our stones - SLOVENIA

Today we played with our stones. It felt like laying on the beach ... Well, almost :)

We love to travel so we brought stones from many countries:

SLOVENIA - Tivoli park in Ljubljana, Ljubljana suburbs, Sava river, Gradaščica river, Mali graben river, Postojna cave, Kamnik, Koper, Slavnik, Štajerska

CROATIA - Premantura, Vrsar, Barbariga, Pakoštane, Stara Baška, Levarnaka, Biševo

BOSNIA IN HERZEGOVINA - Sarajevo

GREECE - Santorini

ITALY - Rosso Ammonitico

We built stone towers. Using flat stones is very important to make tall towers.

We built also other buildings. This is a castle:

We tried to roll stones. The rounder the stone is, more and longer it rolls. You can check it out:

Then we worked on some maths skills.

We devided them into two groups: with holes and those without them.

We made groups due to their color.

Only one green ....

Then 2 piles again ... smooth stones and rough stones ....

And a line of stones from the biggest to the smallest .....

We had fun!!!
